Easley’s Farm to Fork FAQs
Below are some of the frequently asked questions we have gotten from our customers. Please read through these before contacting us, but feel free to contact us if your questions haven’t been answered below.
You can get steaks (filet, sirloin, ribeye, strip, etc.), brisket, roasts (chuck, sirloin, arm, etc.), ground beef, ribs, stew meat, kabob meat, and much more.
Generally, one cubic foot is good for every 30 to 35 pounds of cut and wrapped meat.
Because freezing will keep food safe almost indefinitely, putting any certain length of time on it is more for the quality of meat that you get. Aside from our ground beef being packaged in plastic, all other meat is packaged in freezer paper to prevent the freezer elements from getting to the meat. It is recommended for the best quality to use the meat within the first 12 months.
Hanging weight is the weight of the meat after it has been butchered, but before it has been sliced. Typically after bones have been removed at least 65% of it will be packaged for you, but also depends on the cuts of meat that you choose.

Absolutely not! We enjoy getting out and meeting our customers and feel that because of that we would rather keep the prices low, so that our customers will continue to buy locally.
